The O'Jays put their entire souls in this song................
A classic of great masters with voices such a beautiful song indeed.
I remember this song when life was so so so sweet..when my grandma and grandpa would dance while smiling at each other...Lawd only knows what he was whispering to her..I remember the po-ke-no games, the collard greens, fried chicken, and potato salad I remember grandpa loving his seagrams v.o and ginger ale..I remember Mr and Mrs. House, Wooten, Noble and Burton, (that's when folks believed in getting married & kids stayed out of grown-up conversations) they would all gather at my grand ma & pa's for that Saturday night party..Life was good and songs like this take you back to those memories with a smile on your face and a song in your heart...way to go O'Jay's !!!! :)
Instead of checking that woman she need to check that low down man that's cheating on her. She's begging the other woman to step aside and that's pathetic and weak. She's paying the bills taking care of him but he doesn't care about that or her or he wouldn't be steppin' out. Check that wreck!!
